DONATE YOUR TIME
You can help by volunteering your time. Many of our talented children have talented parents or relatives. Perhaps you could share your gifts by teaching a class, or a club or donating your time to help build sets, or web sites, or a data base or a fund-raising idea/event, or a great idea!
Your time is often more valuable than money. Children see participation and they value it.
CONTRIBUTE RESOURCES
The resources you have as a parent or a business person may seem ordinary to you, but to students, teachers and administrators at Cab Calloway School of the Arts they may be absolutely awesome.
Your concert tickets that you can’t make because you’ll be away could be a gift from heaven to an aspiring violist, dancer or actor/actress.
Your used Macintosh computer that is still great, but is a little too slow for you, and is sitting in storage might be the door that opens a career for a CommArts or Visual Arts student.
Your access to a museum director/stage manager/professional artist/financial wizard could be the inspiration that changes a young person’s life.
You get the picture…it’s not just money, time or resources.
It’s your participation.
